Our take
A 500Hz refresh rate on a portable monitor sounds absurd, but it's real. The QLED panel offers excellent brightness and contrast, making HDR content pop. FreeSync keeps gameplay smooth, and the multiple connectivity options are convenient. However, the 3ms response time is a bit slower than competing high-refresh monitors, and the portable design means a smaller stand. The built-in speakers are weak. If you want the highest refresh rate possible for competitive gaming on the go, this is it, but there are trade-offs.
